At Country Kids Children’s Center, every day is an opportunity to learn, explore, and have fun. Our calendar keeps families informed and involved, with a clear view of upcoming activities, events, and special experiences.

Monthly Activity Calendar

Our monthly calendar gives families a clear snapshot of what children are experiencing including special events, and field trips. It also helps parents stay informed about important reminders, center updates, and upcoming celebrations so they can stay connected to their child’s day-to-day experience. Monthly News & Updates

May's theme is "Animals around the World."

Let’s explore and learn about some of the many different animals that live in our amazing world. We will learn about different types of animals, where they live, how they help us, and the amazing things they do.

Country Kid's News & Recognitions
  1. Parent Teacher Conferences will be held May 26-28.
  2. Our Spring Program will be Tues, May 12th at 6:30 pm. Each class will share something they have learned this year.
  3. We will be closed on Mon, May 25 for Memorial Day.
  4. Our summer field trips begin on May 26th. Sign the permission slips and check the calendar so your child is prepared for the day’s activity.
  5. Welcome Aboard to our new teacher:  Patricia.  We are happy to have you here.  Thanks to all of our teachers and staff for your hard work and dedication.  We love you.

The children go outside every day the weather permits.  They enjoy running and playing outside.  Our Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom gives children opportunities to have “hands on” experience exploring nature and using their creativity to build and create.  

With the nice weather we are having right now, it is a perfect time for outdoor activities. It is important that children get enough physical activity. All children should engage in at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activities most days of the week. This means activities such as running, climbing, skipping, jumping, and dancing. We live in a beautiful area with numerous parks, trails, and splash pads providing unlimited opportunities to enjoy year-round outdoor activities.

Huge thanks to the Santa Clara-Ivins Fire Department for an unforgettable visit to our center last month! The kids loved exploring the trucks and equipment. Thanks for teaching us about the important work you do keeping our community safe

Reminders for Families

Each child should have:

  • a water bottle (with water only),
  • a change of clothes,
  • a small blanket for quiet time,
  • and any other supplies they need to provide for their care.
  • All supplies should be labeled. 

All personal items except those listed above should be left at home. Children’s belongings should be taken to the classroom and put away to help keep them from getting lost and/or mixed up. Children should dress appropriately for the day’s activities.

Health & Safety

Children are not allowed to attend day care if they are not well!

We are a nut-free facility.
