At Country Kids Children’s Center, every day is an opportunity to learn, explore, and have fun. Our calendar keeps families informed and involved, with a clear view of upcoming activities, events, and special experiences.

Our monthly calendar gives families a clear snapshot of what children are experiencing including special events, and field trips. It also helps parents stay informed about important reminders, center updates, and upcoming celebrations so they can stay connected to their child’s day-to-day experience. October's Theme is "Fall, Family, and Friends"

Can you believe fall is here!  In our classes this month, we will be talking about the changing of the season from summer to fall.  We will discuss some of the fun activities that we participate in with our family and friends during the fun fall months.  

We did assessments last month and held our Parent Teacher Conferences.  

Special thanks to the Utah Tech Dental School for their visit to our school .  The children loved the puppet show which helped them learn how to take care of their teeth.

Country Kid's News & Recognitions
  1. Our Annual Family Picnic will be held Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 6:30 pm at Canyon View Park, 1400 Canyon View Dr in Santa Clara.  All food will be provided. Come and enjoy fun with your family and others.

  2. Our annual Fall Carnival will be held on Thursday, Oct 29th at 7 pm. We will close at 6:30 that night so our teachers can get ready. Costumes and masks are optional. Families invited. Please join us for this fun evening!

  3. We will participate in the Annual Trunk or Treat at the Santa Clara Library on Tuesday, Oct 27th from 4 to 6. See you there!

  4.  Pajama Day on Friday, Oct 30th.  Wear your pajamas and enjoy a fun day!
  5. Welcome Aboard to our new teachers Kamryn, Peighton, and Morgan. We are happy to have you all here.   

     

The children go outside every day the weather permits.  They enjoy running and playing outside.  Our Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom gives children opportunities to have “hands on” experience exploring nature and using their creativity to build and create.  We are one of the few centers in our area that have a Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.  Stop by and check it out!

Social-emotional development includes the child’s experience, expression, and management of emotions and the ability to establish positive and rewarding relationships with others. It includes the ability to identify and understand one’s own feelings, to accurately read and comprehend emotional states in others, to manage strong emotions and their expression in a constructive manner, to regulate one’s own behavior, to develop empathy for others, and to establish and maintain relationships.

WE CURRENTLY HAVE OPENINGS FOR CHILDREN IN SOME OF OUR CLASSROOMS.  STOP BY FOR A TOUR!

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to inspire and nurture young learners.  This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the developmental journey of children though engaging lessons and compassionate care.  You have the opportunity to love and play with children in a classroom setting, providing them with a safe, secure place to learn and grow.  You also assist in the daily routines associated with caring for children.  Schedules vary.  Weekends off. 

We offer educational opportunities, including scholarships, participation in Career Ladder and in the TEACH program, CEU’s, and CDA classes.  We also offer paid vacation days and longevity bonus

Reminders for Families

Each child should have:

  • a water bottle (with water only),
  • a change of clothes,
  • a small blanket for quiet time,
  • and any other supplies they need to provide for their care.
  • All supplies should be labeled. 

All personal items except those listed above should be left at home. Children’s belongings should be taken to the classroom and put away to help keep them from getting lost and/or mixed up. Children should dress appropriately for the day’s activities.

Health & Safety

Children are not allowed to attend day care if they are not well!

We are a nut-free facility.
